Israel prisoners 'may be swapped' ... Samir Qantar, who has been in prison for almost thirty years for killing three Israelis, including a child, in a guerilla raid. Earlier, Israel confirmed that two bodies handed over by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah under the deal were those of Israeli soldiers captured in a cross-border raid in 2006. The abduction of the two soldiers sparked a month-long invasion of Lebanon by Israel that resulted in the deaths of over a thousand people, mostly Lebanese citizens. In return for the dead soldiers, Israel will also hand over almost 200 bodies of Hezbollah and Palestinian fighters. The Lebanese cabinet has declared today a national holiday.
