Pope Benedict XVI has called for all religions to unite against indiscriminate violence and resolve conflicts peacefully.
The pope, who is in Australia for the Church's World Youth Day, made the statement at an inter-religious meeting with rabbis and Muslim clerics at St. Mary's cathedral in Sydney.
