The police levelled an accusation against Kula in early July in connection with a contract on the supply of mobile telephone jammers in prisons and Pospisil suspended him. The accusation was later abolished, however. Pospisil said he acted in harmony with the relevant law that says that if the reasons for which a person was suspended do not exist any more, the suspension is terminated. Direct presidential poll bill not to change powers-Czech JustMin ... of having stripped the state of almost 20 million crowns in connection with the jammers order. Kreuzzieger had resigned from the post of Kula's deputy over the dubious order. Kula said he categorically disagrees with the criminal proceedings when they were started.
He said he only signed a contract prepared by his subordinates. He refused to resign by himself when he was accused and he took holiday. Tje police investigated the jammers order from January 2007. (USD1=14.587 crowns)
