The International Criminal Court in the Hague is pushing for the extradition of ex-Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic from a prison in Belgrade.
He is accused of crimes against humanity for the massacre of 8,000 Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica in 1995 and the siege of Sarajevo, during which some 11,000 people died.
