Serbia has decided to reinstate ambassadors withdrawn from EU countries that supported Kosovo's declaration of independence. Serbian Foreign Minister Vuc Jeremic said the return of ambassadors would help Serbia's bid to join the European Union.
Kosovo broke away from Serbia in February. Its statehood has been recognized by the US and 20 EU member states. Serbia has no plans to return its ambassador to Washington or other non-EU states that recognized Kosovo.
