At least four explosions have hit the the western Indian city of Ahmedabad, according to TV reports.
Unconfirmed accounts suggested five people were hurt in the blasts, in Gujarat state's capital city.
The explosions came a day after seven devices exploded in the southern city of Bangalore, India's IT hub, leaving two people dead.
The authorities are investigating the Bangalore incidents, but so far no-one has claimed responsibility.
