Typhoon Fung Wong has made landfall in China's Fujian province, bringing torrential rain and more destruction, after ravaging Taiwan and the Philippines.
Chinese state media said the typhoon has already affected more than 1.5 million people in Fujian and neighbouring Zhejiang province, toppling more than 260 buildings. Across the water on Taiwan, Taiwanese soldiers and Buddhist volunteers are helping villagers clean up their homes after the typhoon left a 30 million dollar trail of destruction.
