The legislation cancels the right of municipal police to measure the velocity of speed by radar in towns and villages and the investigation of the police by state attorneys. Langer has promised to submit the relevant amendments before the end of the year. Langer said previously that the reform meant a breakthrough in the functioning of the Czech police.

Police will only intervene if the organisers were unable to cope with the situation at stadiums and if the health of the participants were endangered.
