Serbian police have clashed with anti-government protesters in Belgrade.
Police used rubber bullets and tear gas after around 100 mostly drunken youths, threw stones and tried to breach a security cordon in the city centre. The clashes broke out near the end of a rally that drew some 15,000 ultranationalists protesting government plans to extradite ex-Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic to the UN war crimes tribunal in the Hague. Karadzic is accused of orchestrating the massacre of some 8,000 Bosnian Muslims at Srebrenica in 1995. Meanwhile Bosnia's war crimes court has sentenced seven Bosnian Serbs to prison terms ranging from 38 to 42 years, for their roles in the Srebrenica massacre.
