Mbeki meets Mugabe ... this week. Mbeki, who is mediating between the two sides, was speaking from Zimbabwe after a meeting with the country's leader, Robert Mugabe. The compromise talks, taking place in South Africa, were suspended on Monday. The two sides were reportedly unable to compromise on who should lead the new government.
