German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said Iran must stop "trifling" over western proposals on its controversial nuclear programme.
That's according to a report to be published on Monday in the news magazine Der Spiegel. The report quotes Steinmeier as saying that the six major powers -- Britain, France, Germany, China, Russia and the US -- have offered comprehensive cooperation. Steinmeier has told the magazine that he hopes for ''a clear signal'' in favour of a deal which would involve Iran suspending its nuclear activities in return for a suspension of sanctions against it. Ebadi calls on media to foster peace ... there isn't a prompt response, more pressure would have to be brought on Tehran. Meanwhile, EU diplomats in Brussels said they were still awaiting Tehran's official response to an offer of new talks to resolve the dispute.
