Fazul Abdullah Mohammed is high on a US wanted list, with a five million dollar bounty, for the 1998 twin bombings of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. Those attacks killed more than 220 people and injured thousands. Kenyan police say the Comorros-born Mohammed, who allegedly heads al Qaeda's east African cell, had sneaked last week from Somalia into Kenya for kidney treatment. Kenya's Standard newspaper says police also found two of his forged passports. He managed to flee a house in Malindi just an hour before police arrived. Kenya also wants him for a 2002 bombing of an Israeli-owned hotel near Mombasa that killed 15 people.
