leader of South Africa's ruling African National Congress party, Jacob Zuma, is appearing in court for a second day to push for the dismissal of a graft case that could undermine his bid to become president next year. The 66-year old denies accusations of corruption, racketeering and money-laundering and of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from a French arms firm. Thousands of Zuma's supporters have been rallying outside the court building in the city of Pietermaritzburg where the trial is being held.
