Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has cancelled his visit to China just hours before he was scheduled to leave the country to attend Friday's opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.
The announcement came as the ruling coalition was holding a meeting to discuss his possible impeachment. Asif Ali Zardari of the ruling Pakistan People's Party and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) reportedly agreed overnight to impeach the former military ruler and reinstate more than 60 senior judges who were sacked last year under Bush approves soldier's execution ...
