A Lufthansa spokesman said the impact of the strike was as yet unknown, but disruptions were expected. CityLine pilots have already staged several stoppages in past weeks to underline their demands in a wage dispute that has lasted several months. The new strikes come just days after Lufthansa settled a separate wage dispute with services trade union Verdi to end a strike by ground staff that caused hundreds of flight cancellations last week.
