Pilots at the German air carrier CityLine have gone on a 36-hour strike to back up their wage demands.

Lufthansa and union hold informal wage talks ... CityLine pilots have already staged several stoppages over the past few weeks to back up their demands in a wage dispute that has lasted several months. This latest work stoppage come just days after Lufthansa settled a separate wage dispute with the services trade union Verdi. This ended a strike by ground staff that caused hundreds of flight cancellations last week.
